  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Log in to the Central Management Console
    2. Create a Play with it user and add it to the Administrators group
    3. Go to the application area, right-click Web Intelligence, select Manage User Security.
    4. Deny Test User Best Match – Enable formatting with specific rights for Web Intelligence.
    5. Sign in to BI launch pad as a test user
    6. Open the problematic Web Intelligence insurance policy (Web Intelligence document is based on Oracle database with report filters)
    7. Update the document yourself
      1. >> The following error may be common “Your security profile does not grant permission to edit text (error: ERR_WIS_30252)”

    Reason:

  • This issue occurs because there is an object-based learning filter in the main problem report, as it is no longer in the main object dictionary (dimensions, measures, or variables).
  • For example, if there is an exploration filter based on an object, that object will no longer appear in the document. Web Intelligence will try to delete it, but always because the test user does not have permission to change the direction of the report in which you receive the error.
  • Solutions

    This issue is definitely resolved in the fixes listed below in the Support and Fixes package.
    The Support Packages and Fixes storage location is populated with the appropriate fix levels as soon as they are posted.

    Workaround:

    1. The boss opens the document with the user. Open via Update appears, answer the request. Refresh each document if it is not open on refresh.
    2. Once the document is completely filled, just click on the Save button.
    3. The document is now restored. AND
    4. Log out with your custom test.
    5. Open recoveryThis is a document, it works without errors.

    Sometimes strange things happen when a person keeps the same name during a reset, for example when the “Refresh on open” method is activated. Try the following steps if saving to this article doesn’t solve your problem.

    1. with the user open the document. Update if necessary. Please answer the request.
    2. Once the document is fully loaded, save it and turn off refresh on open.
      Enter another name for the document here.
    3. Once the document is reloaded, save it again as. And that, check the “refresh on open” time and don’t forget to give the document a different name.
    4. Hard copy restored.
    5. Log out and take our user test.
    6. Open the saved document, everything will work without errors.
