I’ve had a few performance frustrations, so I’ve put together a list of reasons why you might be having a particularly slow Windows 10 experience and what you can do about it.
Reason 1: You Have Too Much Autoplay

How to fix: To fix this problem, you may need to disable some applications that start automatically at startup.

This may seem too simple, but it will be true, especially if you are maintaining a powerful computer with a dedicated quad-core or octa-core i7 processor. It’s unlikely that a few extra windows will slow down your PC, right? Mark the task to help the manager.
Symptoms: Slow browsing. Take applications to run them or force them for long periods of time. App screens often freeze.
To solve the problem: use the task manager, select and close applications that use too much secure digital data.

Reason 4: Your Antivirus Software Is Too Active
Solving a problem. Your antivirus program may be consuming more processing power while scanning in the background. Change your antivirus settings.
Step 1 only: Open your antivirus program from the Windows search bar. For example, I use Malwarebytes.
Step 2: Click Settings. Then click Scan Schedule next. Check the box associated with the scanned image you want to mirror and click Edit.
Step 3. Change the time and date of the exam to your liking and frequency, if you can.
These screenshots show theprocess to get Malwarebytes, but there are many other antivirus programs out there. However, the procedure for editing scheduled scans is generally the same as most.
Another Reason: Your Hard Drive Is Running Out Of Space
Symptoms. Your computer may constantly run at half performance when the hard drive is 95% loaded. Lack of disk space for temporary files used by programs prevents your operating system from working properly.
